There is little to compare to going over to Wild Horse Island on a kayak or a canoe or a paddleboard. It’s approximately a 3.2 mile paddle from shore to the Island and you’re able to make routes next to other islands on the way there, for ease of mind.
We have several kayaks available including single and doubles, fishing kayaks, picnicking kayaks or, our most popular item, glass bottom kayaks. Flathead Lake beckons you to grab one and get your bpms going by exercising and sightseeing your way around the water. Our canoes are standard two to three person canoes.
Our paddleboards (stand up paddleboards or SUPs) have been increasingly popular in recent times. Trying them is easy and no one who has rented them from us at Boat Rentals and Rides here on Flathead Lake has ever had trouble learning how to operate them.
